Our client is a leading Financial Services Firm based in London who is presently recruiting for Conformity * Compliance Officer within their Recovery & Reorganisation Department. The Recovery & Reorganisation department deals with all types of corporate insolvency, including liquidations, receiverships, administrations, company voluntary arrangements and personal insolvency. Investigations work also covers due diligence assignments on behalf of financiers to prospective management buy outs and corporate acquisitions. London Recovery & Reorganisation deals primarily with corporate recovery, restructuring and investigations. This role is solely dedicated to compliance matters, with support from key managers within each of the functional areas of the department. To monitor the current levels of compliance within London Recovery & Reorganisation and actively work to improve those levels.
Main responsibilities:
- To address areas where day-to-day conduct could be criticised and to implement a work program as appropriate to prepare and remedy these areas before audit and inspection. Areas for review include:- - Treasury function: - Insolvency Practitioner`s Record – - Ethical issues. - Client understanding of procedures - Appointment formalities and statutory - Case administration - File Review Audit - AS400 Reporting Diary and Record Book: - Specific Penalty Bonding:. - Closure: review of closure procedures. - Director`s Disqualification Reports: - Billing
Qualifications:
- Any of the following: JIEB, CPI, ACCA, AAT.
Person Specification:
- Thorough knowledge of insolvency procedures, practices and laws - Previous experience in insolvency as a case administrator - Previous experience as a senior administrator - Minimum Grade B GCSE Maths and English Language or equivalent - Good education to A-level standard
